IDEA Server adds an extra layer of security to your data. Users must sign on to IDEA Server with a separate user ID and password. Projects can be open to all IDEA users or set up to allow access only to specific users, so confidential information, such as payroll audit data, remains private.

Users need very little training to begin using IDEA Server, because they are already familiar with the IDEA user interface. They can drag files from their IDEA file explorer straight to IDEA Server, or import files directly to the server.

IDEA Server is comprised of an IDEA Task Manager and one or more IDEA Task Servers. An unlimited number of IDEA Task Servers can be added on the fly, making IDEA Server easily scalable. It can also grow or shrink as your business needs change, allowing you to maximize your hardware investment.
