SmartExporter significantly reduces or eliminates the need for IT involvement to obtain data sets from SAP which saves time and effort. Data requests are generated in a Windows-based desktop by selecting criteria from a standardized or customized directory of more than 79,000 SAP tables. After configuring the data request by defining the tables, fields and filters, you may save it as a "Favorite" for repeat use.
Online or Offline - SmartExporter Offers a Variety of Ways to Export SAP Data
Online - Connect to the SAP system and export data directly using scheduling options to minimize impact and save data in a pre-set location.
Offline - Generate a data request on the desktop in XML or TXT format, then forward the request to the appropriate SAP contact with access to the system.
Whether online or offline, SmartExporter allows the user to schedule exports based on the current system workload, or set the data extraction for a specific time during off-peak business hours. External auditors or internal auditors without permissions to SAP might use the offline process.

Secure Solution
SmartExporter offers additional security with the ability to use SAP's user permissions for standard or custom access privileges. User access to SAP data is limited by pre-set parameters within SAP therefore the original data cannot be edited. Any data previews are read only. All actions are recorded by a unique ID on the client or SAP side, which ensures maximum transparency when using SmartExporter.
How it Works
Step 1: Select from a listing of standard SAP data tables, up to 79,000, or customized tables and fields
Step 2: Use the Quick Filters feature to refine the data you wish to view by date, customer, vendor, etc.
Step 3: Choose fields and filters to further narrow your search criteria
Step 4: Check the file size, file layout and table permission/access levels using preview buttons
Step 5: Define data request options and select your output format (IDEA, TXT, AIS, Microsoft Access)
Step 6: Check on the status of your data request - indicators provide real-time updates
Licensing
We offer single-user licensing for $3,600 per year, which includes the ability to access up to 10 instances of SAP within the company, or to share unlimited saved data requests with outside consultants and partners.
