3rd North America IDEA User Conference Announced – Call for Presenters Issued
HOUSTON - Nov. 7, 2011 - Audimation Services, Inc. in cooperation with CaseWare IDEA Inc., today announced the 3rd North America IDEA User Conference will be held during September 18-19, 2012 at the Hilton Dallas Fort Worth in Grapevine Texas Executive Lakes. Attendees will learn strategies and techniques for using IDEA to its fullest extent, and benefit from the optional pre- and post-conference hands-on workshops, which will be held on Sept. 17 and 20.
The Conference Team has issued a call for presenters to speak on various topics including best practices using IDEA for data analysis, fraud detection, compliance, continuous auditing and testing practices, among others. Selected presenters will receive complimentary conference registration, paid travel and lodging, recognition in marketing materials and other benefits. The submission deadline is Monday, Dec. 15, 2011. Those interested in submitting information may complete the online form available on our User Conference Page.
This year’s conference will focus on “Building on IDEA” where attendees will hear from experienced IDEA users about how they have used IDEA to positively improve their work.
Experienced IDEA users and authorized trainers will cover the various ways IDEA can be used to improve audit performance, increase value, meet audit standards, uncover fraud and improve controls. More than 200 IDEA users from across North America attended the 2nd IDEA User Conference, which was held in Houston on Oct. 5-6, 2010.
