Position Overview:

Increases company growth through sales initiatives and offer solutions to satisfy prospect or client business needs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships within assigned territory and named accounts
  • Initiate contact with potential clients via follow up calls from personally researched leads, cold calls, web leads, assigned leads,  
  • Provide product demonstrations via online meeting software
  • Document potential sales opportunities in CRM and keep pipeline updated
  • Prepare quotes and orders for customers with high level of accuracy
  • Work within developed marketing strategies to help reach established goals
  • Respond to prospective customer inquiries by presenting software benefits and value over the phone, follow a consultative sales process to close the sale
  • Contact customers on a regular basis to maintain account relationship, advise of new product and service offerings, and obtain feedback on products
  • Ensure that customer’s needs are communicated to the Technical Support and Training Departments during post implementation
  • Organize ongoing contact/sales activities through use of customer relationship database
  • Possible light travel to trade shows and conferences
  • Any other duties as required

Requirements:

  • BS with 2+ years preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a combination in Business, Accounting, or Information Technology
  • Self-motivated and a team-player
  • Excellent rapport and relationship building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in navigating the internet
  • Previous Inside Sales experience a must

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Experience closing deals greater than 20K a plus
  • Experience with a customer relationship management tool, use of Microsoft CRM a plus
  •  Previous account management experience a plus
