CaseWare Sets New Benchmark with its Recently Rebranded Continuous Controls Monitoring Solution: CaseWare Monitor Version 3.3

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – January 31, 2011 – Today, CaseWare, an industry leader in technology solutions for professionals in finance and accounting, governance, and risk and audit, announced the launch of its newly rebranded continuous controls monitoring software.

CaseWare Monitor Version 3.3 has enhanced its ability to provide C-level executives with complete enterprise-wide oversight, greater operational performance, reduced cost of compliance and a significant return of investment on IT spend. This release enables effective continuous monitoring of controls and breaches from any data source or application such as ERPs, systems logs, telecom switches, external databases, legacy systems, or data collection agents.

Through a single portal coupled with built-in workflow and notification, all stakeholders and key decision makers can independently monitor processes across varying businesses and systems. This collaborative framework helps users across multiple departments such as procurement, finance, audit, and IT, to detect and correct errors and abuses before they become detrimental.

Customers have the flexibility to implement monitoring solutions for Windows Security Logs, Purchase-to-Pay, Continuous Auditing, Health Insurance Fraud, and Revenue Assurance for Utilities, or to leverage CaseWare Monitor's open framework platform to create their own customized monitors using established data analysis tools such as IDEA®, ACL™, Microsoft® Excel, and Microsoft® Access.

CaseWare Monitor Version 3.3 marks the first release of CaseWare's continuous controls monitoring solution, following the acquisition of SymSure Limited. The former SymSure Monitor and SymSure for IDEA technologies have been rebranded into the newly enhanced CaseWare Monitor Version 3.3.

"The new release is an embodiment of CaseWare's unified vision to pioneer industry innovation and create a superior customer experience. As a result, our clientele can truly enable a comprehensive continuous controls monitoring environment without any additional changes to their existing infrastructure. C-level executives can enable automatic regulatory compliance and a reduction in fraudulent activities whilst increasing the value of operations, within one portal," said Andrew Simpson, COO, CaseWare RCM. "New value driven features that show our market leading value proposition of interoperability with any system or application, represent the demand of our clientele for IT investments that are accountable and easy to implement regardless of changing IT environments."
