In this session, learn how to test subsequent collections of AR using IDEA’s Join function. Discover new ways to use IDEA’s join function to isolate uncollected amounts from the year-end AR population to use for further analysis of the allowance of doubtful accounts. Also, determine how to effectively isolate large populations of transactions from the general ledger detail - without long extraction formulas or selecting multiple keys for a key-value extraction.

Abby Roveda brings more than five years of experience in audit and consulting services to her position at Crow Shields Bailey, PC in Mobile, Alabama. She was instrumental in bringing IDEA into the firm and championing its use on various engagements. Abby provides internal training on audit techniques, IDEA and Excel, and co-directs the firm’s recruiting efforts on Alabama college campuses. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
