Overview


We are seeking a proven, dynamic marketing manager with a minimum of ten (10) years [senior level marketing experience]: eight (8) years of which are in the B2B technology/software services industry, and, include 4yrs supervisory and management experience to join our marketing team.

 
Position Overview
 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of strategic marketing programs that deliver to the corporate vision and strategy, drives revenue, increases brand awareness, creates demand for products and services, and generate a continuous flow of high-quality leads. The marketing program will integrate a brand strategy, lead generation methodology, SEO, marketing tools, and social media platforms and initiatives. The Marketing Manager provides management, supervision, and direction to the Marketing Team. Collaborating with other company leaders, colleagues, teams, and strategic partners, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of marketing programs that accelerate the company’s growth and market share. This position reports to the Senior Director of Revenue Generation or other designated Audimation executive.

 
Key Duties & Responsibilities
 

  • Design, develop and implement a comprehensive marketing program, including marketing communications (digital and other), events, brand awareness, product and service promotion, and lead generation.

  • Seek opportunities to gain market share through clear identification of the market and the ability to target messaging appropriately to attract the defined market.

  • Responsible for lead generation, brand awareness, taking new products/services to market, and expand the company's thought leadership program.

  • Monitor and manage marketing KPI’s. Provide analysis, ROI reports and performance-to-plan status.

  • Develop reports, plans, recommendations and inputs (budget, resource acquisition, and allocation, staffing) for leadership.

  • Proactively collaborate with company managers, colleagues, teams and strategic partners in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans and initiatives.

  • Provide management, direction, and feedback to the Marketing team. Develop and deliver team member performance plans which include objectives, timelines, targets, and performance reviews.

  • Develop a thought leadership program for the company by identifying speaking and other opportunities that build the reputation and stature of the company in the industry.

  • Manages and executes on trade shows, events, and user conferences program. This includes assuming the role of conference producer: managing logistics, coordinating support teams, managing collateral, social media, and promotions, selecting and managing AV teams, signage, and other event-related activities.

  • Manages and directs the creation of copy, content, ads, signage and related collateral for use in marketing initiatives and other projects. Ensure brand messaging consistency and quality to create compelling content for the defined market.

  • Manages outsourced agencies including but not limited to creative, content creation, and SEO contributors.

  • Ensure brand integrity and consistency in all elements of communications, events, initiatives, promotions, messaging, collateral, content, promotions and materials.

  • As required, participate in off-site sales and marketing initiatives such as conferences/trade shows, training, professional association and networking events. These activities may require travel (local and domestic).

 
Required Skills, Experience & Credentials
 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years senior-level marketing management experience with a minimum of four years in a marketing leadership role that included direct staff supervision, performance management, and professional development.

  • Eight (8) years minimum marketing experience in the B2B technology/software and services industry.

  • Proven and demonstrable experience at defining the market (audience) and identifying the right content to attract said market.

  • Experience managing external vendors/agencies, and contract management and negotiation.

  • Ability to understand the corporate vision and turn it into market programs which result in revenue.

  • Experience in design, execution and management of large-scale events.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver innovative marketing programs and initiatives that successfully drive sales and brand awareness.

  • Proven ability to successfully lead and manage all aspects of Marketing team performance; creating a cohesive, empowered team that routinely exceeds performance targets.

  • Experienced in the development and implementation of focused, multi-faceted marketing programs which include the use of electronic/social media platforms, SEO marketing techniques, content design/development, marketing automation tools, events and industry best practices.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Fluency in the entire Microsoft Office suite of products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as personal computers, peripherals and mobile devices.

  • Ability to work independently, within established parameters, while understanding the necessity for communicating/coordinating work efforts with colleagues and management.

  • Proficient in the use of design/graphics software including, but not limited to: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe and similar tools.

  • Demonstrated ability able to manage multiple marketing projects with hard deadlines, budgetary and quality requirements, simultaneously. Ability to exceed defined performance targets with a continual sense of urgency.

  • Experienced, effective communicator with a persuasive, engaging face-to-face demeanor and business-like appearance; clear, professional phone bearing; inventive, accurate writing ability and convincing online presence.
