Join us for an engaging webcast where we will explore how audit quality has evolved, how technology fits into the picture and best practices for measuring quality. Attendees will learn how data is driving audit processes, and how technology helps visualize the accounting practices of clients. Topics will include rise of the machines and their impact on audit, addressing the public perceptions of audit, whose responsibility it is to ensure audits meet minimum quality, and exercising professional skepticism.

Speaker Bio
Amanda White has previously held positions as a trainee at Coopers and Lybrand and later on as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her professional experience has focused providing operational risk management to the financial services and services industries. In 2002 she completed a Bachelor of Business (Honours). Amanda completed her PhD at the University of New South Wales in the area of audit judgement and decision making. Amanda's research now focuses on the teaching and learning aspects of accounting education. Initiatives developed within the subjects that Amanda teaches have been adopted across the University and Amanda has been invited to speak on numerous occassions at conferences on accounting education and the use of technology.
