Data analytics competency is in high demand. The principles, theories, and techniques often overwhelm young professionals without formal training on where and how to start. Wilkes University is helping undergraduate accounting students gain valuable experience using and applying IDEA as they advance their education and prepare for the workforce. This session provides a case study for rolling out data analytics in academia, including addressing issues such as operating system preferences, developing new ways to engage students in the fascinating world of analytics, and enhance their problem-solving skills.
