Report Reader Updates in IDEA 10

The functionality in Report Reader remained unchanged between IDEA versions 9 and 10.  However, many of the icons in the toolbar have a new look.  Users who are used to the interface in the older version may find that the new toolbar is a little disorienting when they open Report Reader in IDEA 10 for the first time.

The good news is that even though they may look different, all of the tools are in the same place and do the exact same thing.  To make things a little more clear, here is a table which you may find helpful to find the tool you need.  Note that these icons are context-sensitive.  Some of them may be greyed out depending on if you have a layer opened for editing.

Of course, if you’re not sure what an icon does, you can always just hover your mouse over it to get a brief description.
