Data analytics is essential for conducting efficient and effective audits. This event prepares beginner-level IDEA users and those who need a refresher course, for our two-day hands-on training courses (IDEA Data Analysis Level 1 and Level 2), which provide more hands-on instruction. Our half-day workshop provides a high-level overview of IDEA including:

  • Importing Excel and CSV files and preparing data for analysis.
  • Navigating IDEA's features and functionality to perform tasks such as indexing, summarizing, joining, and filtering.
  • Turning result files into electronic working papers, and best practices for sharing findings.

Learn how to navigate IDEA's features and functions to gain a deeper understanding of how data analytics can be applied in your everyday work. In just two days, attendees will learn how and where to apply IDEA and will build skills through hands-on instruction using case studies and sample data.

After completing the IDEA Data Analysis Level 1 course, or gained experience working with IDEA, it is time to tackle more complex data analysis tasks. This two-day IDEA Data Analysis Level 2 course is designed to build your skills and achieve higher levels of efficiency. This course provides hands-on instruction using a series of case studies to help attendees learn more advanced techniques including creating equations or criteria, automating tasks and connecting databases.

Fraud Data Analytics Seminar
