This course provides an in-depth introduction to the Caseware Taxflow application, in Caseware Cloud. During this course, you will learn how to create an Entity and a new Taxflow engagement, scope the engagement by completing questions in Caseware documents, create Queries to request information and files from clients, import Trial Balance information and assign accounts to financial groups, create tax adjustments, export tax information, and lock down the engagement when it's completed.

Prerequisites In order to complete this course, you need to have a Caseware Cloud account, with access to the Taxflow app. Additionally, as pre-requisite work for the course, you will need to create an Entity and a Contact, to allow you to complete the exercises in the course case study. Depending on your level of access, you may need to contact your Caseware Cloud administrator for assistance.
After completing this training, participants will be able to:
 
  • Create an Entity and a new Taxflow engagement.
  • Scope the engagement by completing questions in Caseware documents.
  • Create a Query to request information and files from clients.
  • Import Trial Balance information and assign accounts to tax groups.
  • Create tax adjustments.
  • Export tax information
  • Lock down the engagement upon completion.
