Data analytics is essential for conducting efficient and effective audits. Our one-day workshop provides a comprehensive, high-level overview of IDEA including:
Importing files and preparing data for analysis
Navigating IDEA's features and functionality to perform tasks such as summarizing data, adding fields to a database, joining two databases, using pivot tables and stratification, etc.
Turning result files into electronic working papers, and best practices for sharing findings
This event prepares beginner-level IDEA users, and those who need a refresher course, for our two-day hands-on training courses (IDEA Data Analysis Level 1 and Level 2), which provide more hands-on instruction.
One day (8 CPE)
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Workshop attendees are encouraged to attend our one-hour Getting Started with IDEA webcast to become familiar with IDEA’s basic features and functions.
