This half day hands-on workshop provides experienced IDEA users with advanced knowledge of importing print reports and PDF files into IDEA using the Report Reader as well as working with difficult Excel and delimited text files. Attendees will practice working with multi-line layers and fields, floating traps as well as headers and footers. In addition, students will import challenging Excel reports and delimited files to transition them into usable data files on which analysis can be performed.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows® desktop environment and Microsoft Office® applications. IDEA Data Analysis Level 1 and one year of consistent use of IDEA including importing, adding fields, extracting data, and summarizing data. |
