This course will prepare users of Caseware International’s Working Papers Software to operate within a professional accountancy workflow. This means becoming familiar with the navigation and features of the software in general, as well as best practices from a professional and technical standpoint.
**Please note participants are required to be actively engaged in the class and complete coursework to qualify for CPE credit.**

After completing this training, participants will be able to:
- Navigate Working Papers interface
- Create new files from client data and templates
- Import client data
- Create groupings and firm standard account properties and apply them to the accounts
- Manage the Document Manager adding, deleting and moving documents as required
- Add client adjusting entries, including normal, reclassifying, unrecorded –proposed, and tax entries
- Prepare client write-up
- Create automatic reports driven from the client data assign to firm standard groups
- Prepare an export file that contains tax return information for importing into a variety of tax software packages
- Add comments to the file via annotations, commentary and issues
- Track file usage through file history options
- Create and manage PDF documents and integrate them with a document management system
- Repair a file
- Collaborate with team members in a file using SmartSync
- Manage a consolidation
- Process a year-end close, lockdown and archive information that is not required out of the completed file
