Oct 2020, shortly after the release of IDEA 11.2 – CaseWare posted a new SmartAnalyzer app to Passport, CWI Utilities. The Utilities app offered a bundle of 13 smart utilities for performing common audit tasks in a faster, easier way. Bundling some of the most used macros from the IDEA Script Vault into a single app helped to boost user productivity by increasing efficiency.

Now, they’re back with 6 additional utilities!

Description

The CWI Utilities App is a series of 19 useful scripts bundled together in a single SmartAnalyzer application. These utilities have been requested by auditors in order to perform many common tasks easily. Contained in this package are scripts that will provide the following functionality:

Accumulated Total
Add FILENAME Field to All Project Databases
Add Status Fields
Append Prefix or Suffix to Field Names
Copy Field Names
Cross Join **
Date Creation Database
Export Multiple Databases
Export Multiple Databases to a Single Excel File **
Fill Empty Cells

Generate Audit Numbers Indexed by Date
Identify Empty/Repetitive Data Fields
