Taking Your IDEA Skills to the Next Level

After you’ve completed the Level 1 course, or gained experience working with IDEA on your own, it is time to tackle more complex data analysis tasks. Our two-day Level 2 course is designed to build your skills and achieve higher levels of efficiency. This course provides hands-on instruction to help you learn more advanced techniques including creating equations or criteria, automating tasks and connecting databases.

After completing this training, participants will be able to:
 
  • Handle advanced data extract and imports with greater confidence, speed and accuracy, including PDF imports
  • Connect multiple databases to bring data together from different sources for analysis
  • Apply advanced @functions and custom functions to perform complex calculations and testing
  • Perform advanced data profiling using Benford’s Law
  • Automate repeatable processes and repeatable tasks by working with Visual Script and IDEAScripts
  • Access resources available from CaseWare for continued learning and assistance
