The swell of big data has increased pressure on audit professionals to analyze larger amounts of data to uncover fraud, potential threats while keeping up with changing regulatory requirements. This becomes even more challenging with the added expectations that the audit shop of the future needs to combine predictive analytics to plan for unexpected risk, apply continuous monitoring and use visualization to communicate with management.
This session compares data analytics and visualization tools and proven processes for building a data analytic library where each analytic step is recorded using IDEA, Tableau, and Excel to make processes both accessible and repeatable.
